We are very pleased to announce that Happidogs is now open again with Covid 19 precautions in place as follows:
COVID 19 Epidemic Procedures
Happidogs shut down on 24 March 2020 as per government guidelines for households to isolate. As per industry guidelines Happidogs reopened on 9 June 2020 with the following procedures in place.
Cleaning and disinfecting
Clients signed a consent and information form allowing for the use of Leucillin disinfectant to be sprayed on dogs upon entering and leaving the premises. This is to prevent cross contamination of fur and collars between dogs from different households and to protect our family. The car and any bedding used by the dogs is disinfected at the end of each day. Frequent handwashing and disinfectant gel is used by all family members coming into contact with the dogs.
Isolating of Dogs and Humans
Dogs will be dropped off outside down the side of the house avoiding any human contact and with 2m distance observed. The same applies for home time. On walks every effort will be made to ensure that dogs are kept away from interacting with other dogs or humans in the park. A maximum of 4 dogs at a time will be allowed into the house or on walks.
We will not accept dogs from households where any member:
- Has COVID 19
- Is working in a high COVID exposure role
- Is sheltering for extreme health reasons
Owners consent to allow their dog to interact with up to 3 other Happidog dogs either in day care or on walks.
